I am not going to lie, manifestation can be hard and sometimes seem like it isn’t working. Especially, when a lot of advice out there is ambiguous and can be totally misunderstood. At least that’s how I felt a lot in the beginning. Over time i came up with techniques and hacks that worked for me and brought me results faster than I could ever imagine! You will find below 9 hacks, I use all the time and have brought me amazing results!

#1 – Instead of “acting like you already have it”, try this!

“Act like you already have it” – an advice I heard when I first learned about manifesting. It never totally made sense to me. I found it very strange to pretend I already had everything I wanted when my reality was nowhere near. What did it even mean? Was I supposed to spend money like I already had it? Was supposed to pretend like my imaginary boyfriend was coming to family dinners with me and save him a seat next to me? In most cases, I didn’t really understand what tangible action I should apply to my manifestation practice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Eventually I was able to figure out how to tweak this advice and make it work for me. First of all “act” is more of an inside game – align your emotions to your desired outcome. Second, “already have it” refers to a sense of knowing that something is inevitably yours. So rather than acting like it is already have it, I answered this question:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How would I act, think and feel, if I know the outcome I am manifesting is going to be mine before the end of the year?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Imagine your future-self coming back to tell you, “Don’t worry, you are just about to experience everything you have been dreaming of. Keep doing what you are doing. Have faith!” How would you feel?

#2 – Manifesting through all 5 senses.

Most commonly when we want to call into reality a desired outcome we mainly focus on a visual. We create a vision board, have a mental image and day dream about how it would look like. This is great but we are missing 4 other senses. Let’s try to focus on the others too. ⠀⠀⠀

⋒ Take a moment for yourself and bring up the picture of your desired outcome – a loving relationship, a new home, an adventure, whatever it is you deeply desire to have, be or do.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ What can you hear? Are birds singing? Can you hear the waves crashing? Maybe you are in a big city and can hear the aliveness of it?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ What can you feel? Can you feel a physical sensation? Can you feel the clothes you are wearing in your day dream on your skin? Is the sun warming your skin? Can you feel sand between your toes?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ What can you taste? Can you taste fresh fruit in your mouth? Maybe you having a delicious drink that makes your mouth water?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ What can you smell? Is it the smell of a lavender field? The parfum of a loved one? Fresh bread being baked in your kitchen?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Create an all-inclusive experience. Stretch your mind and focus on all of your senses. And then watch the magic happen.

#3 – Just because you put glitter on shit, doesn’t make it pretty!

Practicing manifestation but not looking at our limiting beliefs, our conditioning or our patterns, is just that – putting glitter on shit and hoping to cover it up. Sadly, it doesn’t work this way. If we want to be badass creators of our lives, we will have to practice shadow work. We will have to dive within and look at the shadow-self. The shadow-self is the part of us we are totally unaware of. It is also called the unconscious or subconscious. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If we want a healthy and loving relationship? We have to look at the beliefs working against us and we have to heal from past experiences.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If we want to be wealthy and financially free? We have to dive into our past and the stories we tell ourself subconsciously.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If we want to have a fulfilling career? Let’s look at our past employments, let’s listen to that inner-critic and create a more empowering story.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To create the life we dream of, we have to look for the shit and rather than putting glitter on it, we have to turn it into a fertile ground.

#4 – Upgrade your mindset!

Creating the life you desire is an inside game. No external circumstance can make up for a negative, fearful or mistrusting mindset. We need to work on our mindset to be able to have, be and do anything we want. What does this mean precisely? We rewire our brain from a lack and fear mentality ( “there is never enough”, “I cannot do it”) to an empowered mentality (“there is enough for everyone”, “I can figure this out”)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ We practice gratitude until it becomes second nature⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ We rewrite stories we made about our past and ourself⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ We train our awareness⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ We learn mindfulness and being present⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ We find time for self-care and focus on self-worth⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our mindset can either serve us or it can break us.

#5 – Surrender your dreams

This step of manifestation can sometimes be the hardest, as it seems so counterintuitive. How can we give up the dream we so passionately are trying to make true, the one we just put blood, sweat and tears into? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yes, this is the one we need to let go of.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Magic happens when we release control, when we KNOW we have done all we could! There is a time where the only thing left to do, is to trust and surrender. Surrender simply means believing we are a vibrational match for what it is we are calling into reality. We released everything we had to let go of, we upgraded our mindset, we practiced alignment and NOW we allow the magic to happen. Taking a step back from the dream allows something even better to materialise. Patience and surrender brings to life, dreams we could not even have known were possible. Let’s leave space for the great unexpected to happen! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⋒ Shift focus to what we have⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ Meditate⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ Move our body⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ Have Fun!

#6 – Reverse engineer your dream life

Sometimes consciously creating a dream life can feel overwhelming. We might hold a vision which is so big, it feels scary and almost impossible. Equally important to seeing the big picture, is to break it down into small pieces. Reverse engineering helps us going from the big picture to the present by taking small steps. It does in no way imply, we need to have it all figured out. Yet it does mean we step into the vision and ask the following questions:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What person am I in this vision?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who do I need to become?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What skills do I need to learn?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What growth needs to happen?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What habits can I start to create right this moment?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From there we create small changes and implement them. If we long for a soulmate and a family, what past experiences can we release now? If we desire to live a healthy and long life, let’s start by making small improvements to our diet. If we want to be wildly happy and successful, let’s start by focusing on a positive mindset. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I commit to drinking more water every day, learn and practice copywriting and tune into my intuition daily.

#7 – You are meant for your desires!

Your desires are meant to come to life through you. They were placed in your mind because you are meant to bring them to life! Read this again.

What came up when you just read that sentence? Listen closely to the voice that just spoke up in your head.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you feel fear because the desire is so big?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you feel unworthy of your desire?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you feel any kind of resistance?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Good. It means you are shifting and your ego feels threatened. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are reading this, Know that no dreams are too big. If you have the desires, you have the resources to make it come true.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whatever your desires – being rich, finding love or become the next Roger Federer – you are worthy of it because you are YOU!

#8 – Take 3 mental snapshots!

“How does you perfect day look like”. This question used to be equally exciting and frightening at the same time. Being able to envision and create the perfect life was a blessing from heaven. Having to define it by one single day was another story.

When we value variation and adventure, it is hard to imagine one day, which should sum up a dream life. It feels almost constraining. Some thrive off of consistency, others need change and love diversity. So when I heard of the 3 snapshots technique, I was thrilled.

Rather than focussing one perfect day, imagine taking 3 snapshots of the desired outcome. Almost like taking 3 pictures of the future. Make sure the 3 snapshots are more than just pictures, feel the energy, hear the sounds and smell the smells.

Let’s say you wish to manifest your soulmate, you might picture meeting him at the beach, having giggles in bed and your wedding day.

My three snapshots are holding the first copy of my book in my hands, being at my physical book signing with lots of like-minded people I am excited to meet and getting e-mails from people whose lives I changed.

Let your imagination run wild.

#9 – Borrowing feelings

Feeling into our desired reality is key when it comes to manifesting. Feelings are the most powerful magnet to which no reality can resist. However, in some cases this might be the biggest difficulty. How are we supposed to manifest a loving relationship when we might never have experienced it before? How can we feel abundant and free when we have always struggled financially? How should we magnetise a safe and cosy home when we never had one? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The answer is: we borrow those feelings from other experiences by asking following question:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Where did I experience those feelings before?*⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here is an example:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let’s say we are manifesting financial freedom. We start by focussing on 5 feelings we want to experience with said freedom – freedom, security, ease, abundance and gratitude. Where/in what situation/area or moment did we experience those feelings before? Maybe we felt free when we went travelling or were on vacation. We might have felt safe and secure in our parent’s arms. We might experience ease when we ride a bike or do yoga. We feel abundant when we see the countless stars in the night sky and we might feel gratitude when we think of all the friends we have.

Tap into those feelings. Vision the experience. Feel the feelings as much and as often as you can. Receive the magic.

Try those 9 hacks out and see for yourself which ones work best for you. You might love some of them and others may just not be your jam. That’s okey.
